Friday Fancy - Twin Peaks Edition!

Oh I don't know where to begin. I just started watching Twin Peaks earlier this week and I was INSTANTLY hooked!! I remember years ago an old friend was obsessed with this show. We had to of been at least 13. I never understood her obsession, until now. So here are my favorite Etsy finds related to the show...

I love these quotes from the show. I need to get a set of these!

Oh, the log...

How amazing are these prints?? The originals were painted. I admire this type of work!

How freaking fabulous are these beer cozies??? I LOVE this!

The iconic quote heard throughout the series...

If you haven't seen Twin Peaks, I HIGHLY recommend you do so! It's currently on instant play on Netflix. It's so incredibly addicting, I'm nearing the end! I'm sad that there were only two seasons, but boy oh boy, they are gooood!

Wenailsday!

I apologize that this is an extremely belated post. I've meant to do a nail post weeks ago, but I finally had time to do something fun that I thought was worth sharing with you all!

I was inspired by this post by Nailside (this is a very awesome and inspiring nail blog that I love so so much)! I was ready to try something festive. I used the white dots as snow, drew a few snow flakes and had a very pretty glitter nail. I really wish I had a more steady hand to make better snowflakes with, but I do love the snow idea I came up with!

I was a little bummed that most of my polish peeled off not even 24 hours after painting. I suppose moisturizing my hands prior to painting and using latex gloves at work today didn't treat my polished nails too well. More excuse to paint them again, right?? :)

Oh, and for you Big Bang Theory fans out there, I am currently watching episode "The Wheaton Recurrence" where Sheldon and Wil Wheaton battle each other over a game of bowling. During this episode, Sheldon explains he created three websites... willwheatonstinks.com, willwheatonstinks.net and willwheatonstinks.org. I took the liberty to see if these actually exist, and indeed they do. I am excitedly in geekdom happiness right now. I just love when shows/movies/etc say things in their show that are viewable in real life. So fun!

I am OBSESSED!

If you know me, you'd know that I am not a huge TV person. I find most TV shows to be rather tacky and boring. I admit, I do have a few shows that I just LOVE (Big Bang Theory, anyone??). So I'm usually pretty skeptical on watching new TV shows. I'm mostly a documentary kind of gal. But when there is something out of the ordinary, unusual and unique, I can't help but watch. Two shows have seriously captivated me. The Walking Dead and American Horror Story!

This show seriously reminds me of the movie, The Crazies (the newer one). I looooove that movie, so it only makes sense that I would love this show, too. If you are into zombies like I am, it's a must see. I get bored easily, and this show held my interest like nobody's business! It was nail biting and I even found myself shouting at my TV a few times to tell them to "Turn Around!" This show is already on it's second season on AMC, but there is good news! The first season is available on Netflix instant play! My dear friend Molly told me about this show yesterday, I hurried home and watched the entire season in one night, it was THAT good! I could seriously go on and on about how amazing this show is, so I just recommend you check it out for yourselves, ya know, if you're into zombies! ;)

My next obsession is American Horror Story on FX. This show is just downright weird. And I love that! It's dark, and it makes you think. I have so many theories floating around in my head about this show, I can't wait to find out what happens next! I love that this show revolves around a "Murder House." It really makes you want to know more about what happened there. I love how it draws in different eras and has a wide range of distinct characters. It's nothing that we have seen on TV before, I'm sad it took this long to have something this amazing on TV! I highly recommend this show, too. It's not for the faint of heart though. I don't scare easily, so these shows are always up my alley!

Is there any new shows that you're addicted to?
